Course Overview
The course is a full-day program conducted in partnership with the United States Coast Guard USCG) to develop informed paddle sports leaders. The program will utilize presentations with practical exercises through a series of training vignettes to build on skills. Skills covered include, but are not limited to, leadership and group management, composite risk management, rescues, towing, emergency signaling, and requesting external assistance. We are appreciative of the work done by the USCG working in unison with us.
