SUMMARY:ACA Level 4 Instructor Certification Workshop - Coastal Kayaking
DESCRIPTION:L4 ICW August 8 – 11 2021 \nBreezy Point\, and Jamaica Bay\, Brooklyn \nTogether Ashley Brown\, and Dov Neimand will run an L4 coastal kayak instructor certification workshop (ICW) in Jamaica Bay and off Breezy Point. The focus of the ICW will revolve around four central goals.\nTrain and certify instructor candidates at their paddling levels\, up to L4.\nHelp instructor candidates to develop a solid individual kayaking pedagogy.\nSharpen and develop candidates personal paddling and group management skills in L4 conditions.\nHave fun\, make friends\, network\, and sing kumbaya.\nIf you are an L4 assessed paddler\, an L3 instructor\, and ready to up your game\, then this course is for you. \nThe price is $150/day for instructor candidates and $75/day for practice students. Spaces are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. \nSpaces can be reserved with a non refundable deposit of $100.
